Why it matters
The Astra launch went well — and that's exactly the problem: demand outran the compute quota Anthropic allocates to Fable, which is only 50% of what the subscription is built around. For any product wrapping someone else's LLM, that's the standard trap: scale isn't capped by customer demand, it's capped by whatever quota the model provider hands you. The only fast lever is cutting off the top tier until more compute gets bought.
