Basically a direct competitor to Google NotebookLM (Google's tool for generating AI audio summaries from documents, which shipped the same feature earlier). You upload notes, documents, or study materials — and get an audio summary that lives in Spotify right alongside everything else you already listen to there.
Previously this only worked through a CLI tool for developers: you needed an agent like Claude Code or Codex to generate the audio, plus a separate command to save it to Spotify. Now it's a standalone app.
The difference from NotebookLM isn't obvious yet — Google shipped the same feature earlier and turned it into a standalone mobile app back in 2025. Spotify's angle is different though: your audio lives where your music and podcasts already are.
