Notion has started a beta rollout of custom AI agents. The agents manage tasks, documents, and databases in Notion, work with email and calendar, integrate with Slack in one click (no other messengers yet, but I think you could set up Telegram through an API and a middleware like Make), and support connectors with external services. The agents run on OpenAI and Anthropic models.
How do you like the slogan?
Anything you can do in Notion, your Notion Agent can do for you.
The key difference from the regular AI features already in Notion is that the agents are autonomous. You give them a task, set a trigger or schedule, and they work without you 24/7.
And obviously, anyone can create an agent — no programming skills required.
Essentially, Notion is moving toward becoming a full-fledged AI operating system for teams. Soon you'll be able to build an entire AI office inside a single workspace.
Great news for those who build their workflow around Notion. I really like how they're evolving — excellent internal AI, everything gets organized into the right folders and automated, a very good call transcription feature (records any call without adding a bot to the meeting), does summarization right there, and so on. Project management in Notion is a dream. But not exactly cheap (starting at $40/employee with AI features included).
