Jensen Huang called Claude Code the first "agent model" on the GTC 2026 stage — and said 100% of NVIDIA employees use it.
I started watching Huang's keynote. He began by talking about the evolution of AI by year. 2023 — ChatGPT. 2024 — reasoning models (o1). 2025 — Claude Code as the first agent. 2026 — "the inference inflection point."
What surprised me (and pleasantly, because I'm a CC user too): for a company with a $3T+ market cap to choose a specific Anthropic product as a marker for an entire era — that's a strong signal. Not OpenAI, not their own Nemotron. Claude Code.
Huang also gave a fairy-tale forecast for demand across all products. He promises $1T in revenue by 2027. Nvidia shares jumped 5% in the moment.
