The feature connects Gemini to your Gmail, Google Photos, YouTube, and search history. The model now responds based not only on internet data but also on your digital footprint.
How does this work in practice?
You ask for recommendations for a trip to a new city. Gemini doesn't just google "top places" — it goes into your email, pulls arrival dates from tickets, scans Google Photos to understand your tastes (whether you're more into museums or bars), and suggests activities that will actually fit your schedule.
Currently rolling out for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers. And importantly — the feature is off by default (privacy first, of course), so if you want to let AI into your personal life, you'll have to activate it manually.
