A criminal case has been opened against Pavel Durov, the founder of Telegram, under an article on "aiding terrorism." Sad news. At first, early in the morning, I didn't believe it. But he wrote about it himself on his social media:

Russia has opened a criminal case against me for "aiding terrorism." Every day the authorities invent new pretexts to restrict Russians' access to Telegram, seeking to suppress the right to privacy and freedom of speech. A sad spectacle of a state that fears its own people.
