📅 Digest: April 8 – 12, 2026
This week, Meta returned to the frontier model race with Muse Spark, pushing the Meta AI app into the top 5 most downloaded in the App Store (it was at #56 before), while Anthropic announced a model it has no plans to release publicly — it's too good at breaking things. OpenAI introduced a new pricing tier, CoreWeave revealed a phenomenal backlog, and Perplexity turned into a personal finance assistant.

Meta released Muse Spark — its first frontier model in a year. Closed API preview for partners, but you can try it at meta.ai in Instant and Thinking modes. By Meta's own assessment, the model competes with Claude Opus 4.6 and GPT-5.4, falling behind only on agentic tasks for now. An open-source version was promised for the future.
Anthropic launched Claude Cowork for Enterprise. The platform got role-based access, per-group spending limits, usage analytics, and Zoom integration. Early users include Zapier and Airtree.
OpenAI introduced a mid-tier ChatGPT plan at $100/month. A new step between Plus ($20) and Pro ($200) — for power users who've outgrown Plus but aren't ready for $200.
Alibaba created the viral text-to-video model Happy Horse, which topped the Artificial Analysis leaderboard. API access is planned to open soon.
Anthropic launched Advisor in the Claude Platform API: Opus 4.6 as the advisor, Sonnet/Haiku as executors — advanced reasoning at standard model costs.
💻 Software
Every.to runs a 25-person company with four AI agents in Notion. The agents automated task prioritization, OKR planning, and meeting note-taking. Key insight: describe outcomes, not steps.
Agentic deploys on Vercel surpassed 30% of all weekly deploys. Agents now deploy on their own, spin up systems, and manage infrastructure — Vercel is building a new platform around it.
💰 Business

OpenAI is targeting $2.5B in ad revenue in 2026 and $100B by 2030.
